About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Approved Technician / Engine Mechanic to join our clients dynamic workshop team in Stansted. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that all work aligns with customer expectations and industry standards. While the primary focus is workshop-based, occasional field assignments (near-wing or on-wing) may be required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Completed a recognized aerospace industry apprenticeship with a minimum of two years' post-apprenticeship experience.
Previous company approval on at least one of the following engine types: CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G, or Trent700.
Proficient in interpreting engine shop manuals and associated documentation, including relevant ATA chapters.
Familiarity with Part 145 and FAA regulations.
Borescope inspection experience is advantageous.
Current certifications in Human Factors, EWIS Level 1 & 2, and Fuel Tank Safety Level 1 & 2 are desirable (training can be provided if necessary).
Flexibility to work across different areas within GT Engine Services as required.
Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to enhance output and quality.
A valid forklift license is beneficial (training can be provided)
